Getting on the launchpad…

By Telmo Silva on March 15, 2013

And here we are at last. After months of hard work we are finally ready to release our baby.  ClicData will be live and accessible to everybody starting this 4th of April 2013.

Needless to say that we are very excited about this! As all Saas-Based application, ClicData is bound to continue to improve and grow in functionalities and thanks to the feedback from our beta users and our focus groups, we have a clear view of where we are going and how we are going to do it in the future.

Last post, I talked about our decision to go Freemium. We still stand strong behind this model as we think it is perfect for a SaaS application.

We have actually decided to extend the concept a bit further and let you access all features for free during the first months.

Yes, no restrictions, do whatever you want, the only limit is the 2GB of space we give you on our server. BUT, if you need more, just shoot us a message through our support, we’ll be happy to extend the space cap for you.

Now, as in all product launches, we expect a few bugs in the first weeks and our team is already standing ready to fix anything you will report to us as soon as a possible.

In the beginning of next week, I will post a small presentation on Youtube to let you see what you will be able to achieve with ClicData.

We also added two VERY important features in this release:

A Data Transformer which will let you transform your data within the application

A Data Merger which will allow you to link multiple data sources from different origins into one single source to then use in your dashboards. (For example, you will be able to link an excel file to the data coming from an oracle data base etc.)

Stay tuned for more for information next week! You can follow us on our Twitter (@ClicData), Linkedin and this blog to make sure you won’t miss anything.

Happy Dashboarding!
