ClicData Pricing Update

By Telmo Silva on April 17, 2015

Hi there!

Working on i4, we realized that we could improve not only our interface and ClicData features but also the way our subscription system works.

Right now, we charge on a per-user basis which can become a challenge for our customers that would prefer to administer all their users as a group especially when it comes to sharing.

With ClicData i4, all users will be tied to an account, which will be accessible through a customized internet address such as https://mycompanyname.clicdata.com. It is basically your portal to your ClicData accounts.

Our new detailed pricing page is accessible here.

First of all, we are not changing the price of our subscriptions, there will still be three levels
• Personal, forever free
• Pro at 20$ /mo
• Enterprise, at 50$ / mo

However, thanks to our new system, we will be able to pool resources on an account-basis and not on a user-basis anymore resulting in the following few changes:

– When you pay for an account on ClicData, you will be able to invite other users to your account as “viewers” to access your dashboards and reports directly. No more need to set up a new account to start sharing information.
– The owner of an account can add as many viewers and editors as he likes. A numbers of those “licenses” are already included in the paying subs so you can start sharing right away.
– Additional viewers/editors can be purchase if needed for 5$ / 15$ per month

We also have a newcomer to the price list called Data Refreshes which basically replaces the limitations on data updates frequency we previously had.

Each account will now have a “pool” of data refresh they can use however they see fit. Our new interface will allow you to go in details on how often you want each of your data source push the fresh data to your dashboards.

For example, if you wish to update a data source every day, it will take 30 refreshes (1 per day) off your total monthly allowance.
If you are not sure how many you have left, don’t worry, you will be able to check at any time in your user panel. And of course, you will be able to get more refreshes if needed.

ClicData Dedicated

If you are thinking about setting up something more demanding such as real time analytics from multiple databases and you would like maximum performance at all times, feel free to check our new solution, ClicData Enterprise Dedicated to get your very own ClicData Server.

And there you are! We hope those changes will make our pricing model simpler, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us at sales@clicdata.com .

Happy Dashboarding!
