Editorial Guidelines

We receive a lot of guest post requests every day so please review carefully our guidelines to make sure your topics are a great fit for ClicData. Our editorial team might not be able to respond positively if these guidelines are not followed:

  • Every article should be unique, in-depth, well-documented, and must not be published on any other website
  • The introduction must be appealing and avoid trivialities (”data analytics is more important than ever” - what else is new?),
  • The article must be easy to read and understand:
    • Avoid jargon or if technical words or acronyms are needed, they must be explained in simple words.
    • Illustrate your arguments with examples (real-life or made-up examples) as much as possible.
    • If you introduce KPIs, include their formulas and how to interpret them.
    • Paragraphs must be of different lengths but no more than 5 sentences.
    • Please run your draft through Grammarly or a similar tool and make sure your post has a score of 95+
    • Use pictures, infographics, or videos whenever it’s necessary. Don’t forget to include the source.
  • The conclusion must bring actionable answers or solutions to the questions from the introduction.
  • We can include one do-follow link to your website or blog post (DR 50+),
  • Your article must be SEO-proofed:
    • Your draft must include a targeted keyword that is incorporated in the SEO title, sub-titles, and body of the article.
    • Includes at least 3 links to (blog posts or website pages)
    • Includes external links to high authority websites only (DR70+) when necessary (data sources, original articles, etc.) IMPORTANT: all links must be included in a natural way. We will remove any link that doesn’t fit with the topic of the article or if it is too promotional.
    • You should also provide a meta description including the targeted keyword.
  • We only publish articles between 1,200 and 1,700-word long (1,500 words is our sweet spot),
  • Make sure to pitch a topic that hasn't been already published on our blog. Your post must bring a fresh point of view on the subject.
  • You can also provide a short author's bio.
