ClicData October Update

Hey there ClicData users!

Our October update is packed with a lot of cool stuff for you all!

Important additions are a new widget, the Knob, the possiblity to securely share data between users, duplicate your dashboards in one click, send your data by email and the ClicData Badges!

New features and improvements

  • new widget: Knob
  • new data connector: Facebook (in Beta)
  • you can now share your data with any other Clicdata user
  • you can now duplicate any of your dashboards
  • badges; unlock them and earn ClicPoints!
  • you can now send data by e-mail (enterprise subscriptions only)
  • added over 600 new maps to use in dashboards
  • simplified the OAuth process for most data connectors
  • simplified the gradient option for maps
  • improved selection capabilities of options in input widgets
  • better general cross-browser support
  • better support of delimiters when loading CSV files
  • more robust deletion of multiple data sources
  • better formatting options all over
  •  … and more various improvements over dashboards, widgets and data!

Bug fixes

  • last value of new rows of custom data were not always saved properly
  • top/bottom/rank filters were not working as expected
  • changing the min/max values of Gauge widgets was not working correctly
  • some dashboards thumbnails were not generated correctly
  • public links for dashboards were not expiring as expected
  • reloading an Excel file was not loading the new rows
  • some filters could be duplicated when reloading a dashboard
  • table headers sometimes disappeared when reloading a CSV file
  • an error occured when saving a Data Merge with too many tables
  • … and more various small bug fixes all over!
