Why we are going freemium.

By Telmo Silva on February 21, 2013

Free dashboard tools! Soon I’ll be able to put that sentence in every commercial and ads we’re going to put out there for the launch of ClicData, and I am not talking about a “free trial” but a fully functional dashboard application, for free.

Why have we decided to go for freemium?

After a few marketing meetings, we found out that if we really want to stick to our creed and “democratize” BI tools, doing it for free was a requirement. Everybody has been prophesying BI SaaS tools as the next big hit during the last ten year, well our plan is to actually be doing it!

So all it’s going to take for you is to register on our website, and voila, you will be all set to connect your data and use the application anytime and… Anywhere, because Cloud technology is wonderful.

Removing the “money” factor should help a lot.

Of course, we do have subscription plans with more services and functionalities to help you as your business grows, because, as a company we have to pay the bills and feed the hamsters running powering our servers, invest in R&D; add more services etc.

But I promise you the free subscription delivers.

Actually, why don’t you join us on our next phase of beta and find out by yourself?  Simply register, we’ll send you an invite soon enough.

So what exactly will be included into this free “plan”?

You will be able to use all of our data visualization widgets, most of our data connectors, will be able to publish and share your dashboards, get access to support etc.

We have no limitation on the number of dashboards and amount of data connectors you can create up to 2 GB.

This is perfect for any SME and SMI-type companies that wishes to manage their sales number, project revenues, set and follows KPIs etc.

If you have any questions or wishes to know more about us and our application, don’t hesitate to join us on Linkedin or just contact us here.

Happy Dashboarding!
