ClicData raises $1M

By Telmo Silva on June 11, 2014

ClicData, cloud-based business dashboards and data warehouse software company, has just raised 1 Million US dollars in funding to support its recent launch.  After opening its doors to small and medium businesses in need to centralize and report on their financial, sales and marketing data, thousands of users have already subscribed in just 6 months of operations.

With 5000+ users and over 30 000 dashboards created and published, ClicData is now ready to take it to the next level and the recent increase in capital from local investors will help foster their sales and marketing initiatives globally.

ClicData is slowly disrupting the business intelligence and data analytics community by continuously improving its online services to connect to multiple data sources, onsite and cloud-based, and quickly enable business users to create and publish relevant and dynamics business dashboards.

“In early 2013 we launched a beta version and we saw an immediate attraction from people across many industries in using ClicData to store and visualize their data”, says Telmo Silva, CEO of ClicData. “It dawned on us that there is a huge potential market for business users that want to stop spending time moving and shaping data to produce meaningful charts and dashboards for their clients, employees, partners, and bosses. Instead, they want to have that precious time to actually analyze the data, make decisions or recommendations and get on with their day.”

Founded in Lille, France and with satellite offices in Seattle (US) and Israel, ClicData works actively with partners and customers in the new business intelligence market competing directly with GoodData, Birst, and BIME Analytics.
